This was my first mothers day and it was great. Miller and Nick gave me a rose bush I loved it can't wait to plant it. Then when we got to church Miller gave me a red rose to wear at church. I also got the youngest mother in the church and Nicks grandmother got to pin it on my shirt that was very special considering she once got the youngest mother also one year. Miller Having Fun

Here are a few pictures of Miller having fun.

Miller's First Beach Trip

On April 25, 2008 Nick and I took Miller to the beach for the first time. We stayed with Hunter and Jessica at Hunters grandparents condo. Nick and I left a little early so we could spend some time on the beach with Miller. Well Miller took his afternoon nap on the beach instead of playing. The next day we loaded up the stroller and headed down to the beach, talk about all the stuff. Once we got settled I put Miller in his sun dome so he wouldn't get burned and brought some of his toys to play with. Well he fell asleep and slept till about noon and then was ready to go up to the room. We had a lot of fun getting to see what he would do in the sand he wasn't to shier about it.

Hope you enjoyed reading about our beach trip. Jamie

Miller is Growing

Hey everyone Miller was bone on December 15, 2007 and came into this world at 6:45am and weighed 5.13 and was 19 1/2 inches long. The day we went home we had dropped to 5.5. The Dr. on call wonted us to come back to the hospital the next day to check his weight. So we did and he had dropped to 5.2. By then they were handing us formula to start him on, so we did. The next day we went back to the hospital and he was up to 5.4. We slowly started to gain. By the next week we were up to 5.10 and we were almost back to our birth wight. At our 2month check up we were up to 6.7 and we thought we were big stuff then. Then at 3months we got sick and we were at 7.7 which I thought was good but he was still under wight. We then got sick again and went back to the Dr. and we weighed in at 8.2 boy are we big stuff now. So we went back for our 4month shots and we now are up to 11.4 and 23 1/2 inches long. So we have grown finally. We will go back to the Dr. on June 17th for our 6th month shots, can't wait to see what we weigh. I will keep everyone updated. Love Jamie

Hello Family and Friends

Hello everyone thank you for visiting our blog this is for everyone to be able to keep in touch with us. The Evans family is doing well, Miller is growing like a weed. Nick is leaving Alabama Paper and has excepted a job with Hunt Oil Company. We are very excited about this move even though he will start shift work, that's OK as long as he is happy. I am still working for Dr. Upton and its going very well. Miller is at Christ Harbor Daycare and loves it. We now have three dogs and one cat. We adopted another dog the day we came home from the hospital with Miller how exciting! Nick has started his garden for the summer and has already started getting some peppers out of it. We took our first beach trip with Miller, he loved it, and hope to have many more. We will keep everyone posted on how we are doing. Love Jamie
