Dot News

Today at lunch I called Judy to see if she had heard anything on Dot and Yes she had. Judy said that Dot told them she loved them and that she was in and out. They are going to try to remove the darning tube try moving her out of ICU. This is great news for us to hear, Prayers really do work and they work fast thanks to all that have been praying please keep the prayers coming. Thanks Jamie

New Updates on Dot

Got great news at lunch today that Dot answered Yes to some questions and NO to some more question this is a great sign. She can move her fingers but not her arms is what I have been told. I think she is still asleep but able to answer yes and no Questions. This is all I know of right know Please Keep The Prayers Coming!

Garden Time

Its time for Nick to get the garden started. Last night he tilled the garden so once it starts to get warm HE can plaint the VEGGIES. You notice that I said HE I do not have anything to do with the garden that is Nicks job. Yes I said his job, he tells me all the time that my job is cleaning and cooking, so I tell him the yard and the animals and bills are his job. If you can't tell we get into some pretty heated argument over these things. But we always seem to work things out, plus he is better at the gardening than I am. If he can grow them then I can find some way to cook them.

Miller and Nick

The past few weeks we have pulled in the drive way Miller has started screaming NO I DON'T WONT TO GO HOME and will ether say he wants to go to his Yaya's or his Gigi's. Well last night we were pulling in and he started up and I said Miller daddy is at home and he is on the TRACTOR. Miller said I want to ride, so Nick put him up there with him and they went down to the garden and started tilling it up. Miller loved every Minute of it I think we are going to have a hard time getting him off this summer.

Animals

Most of you know that we have several animals at our house we have 3 dogs and 2 cats up in till a few weeks ago. OH don't worry we still have the dogs, its the cats that we have not seen in a couple of weeks. Yes I know what y'all are thinking oh they will come back. Well Lucy the femal cat has been fix and we have not seen her for about 2 1/2 weeks and Felix is a boy and he is not fixed and he has been gone for the same amount of time. Now I know what you are thinking Felix is just tom catting around well he is the type that will disoper for the day and then come back at night he dose not miss a meal he weighs as much if not more the Tipper my little dog that stays in side. So yes Fleix is a BIG CAT, Tipper only weighs around 12-15 pounds if this give you any idea how Big he really is but a very sweet cat. I am not really a cat fan but I do not want anything to happen to them so maybe they will come back if I do not see them by the end of next month I will know they are probably not coming home.

Books That I Like

Before I had Miller I was not a big reader infect I would buy a book and it would take me almost a hole year if not longer to read it. I just could not find one to hold my attention, until I became pregnant with Miller I then wanted to read anything and everything. I started reading Mary Kay Andrews and LOVED her books I have read all 5 of them Then I started reading Sophie Kinsella. I have not read all of her books but I will soon. The last time I went to the book store they did not have the one I was looking for from her. So I found another author that I have fallen in love with CARA LOCKWOOD I am on her 3rd book they are so funny. If you like romance, Comedy, and Mystery then these are the books for you they will keep you attention for hours. At night I will put Miller in the bath tub and read my book while I sit there and let him play it is great. I hope you will look them up for your self and try one out you may become addicted like ME.

March

Well March is around the corner and we have several things going on we have a good friends wedding the first weekend in March. We also have Big Georges Birthday on March the 17th and that is also ST. PATRICK'S DAY Go Irish. Mom, Mallory, Daren, Miller and I are all going to Mobile also for the Azelia run. This will be our 3rd year to go this will be moms 3rd year to run. I did the fun run last year and I am going to try the 10k run this year the only thing is they say no strollers but there are strollers every year so I think I will be fine. There is also a chance that Mary V will have her little nugget in the month of March and I hope I will Miss it. Boy what a busy but fun Month.

New Things With Miller

Miller is growing up so fast and changing everyday. He is now repeating anything he hears so Nick and I have had to be pretty careful with what we say in front of him. His favorite thing to say is HO HO HO Merry Christmas Little Boy it is the most funniest thing to hear him say it. In the mornings when I get him up he will say watch Minny mouse but when you ask him you want to watch Minny Mouse he will say no Mic Mouse in other words we wants to watch Micky Mouse. Also when he gets in trouble and we have to spank him he will say NO DON'T HURT ME! It takes me everything not to laugh at him, Nick gets so mad at me when I do laugh. He also walks around the house holding his little toy shot gun and he will point it to one of the deer on the wall and say GOT BIG DEER MOMMA. Also He will tell Nick and I Momma I POO POO when he really only has a wet pull up or diaper. He is so funny to just lesion to it just makes my day to her him talk. OH the Joy of Children.

Up Date on Dot

Ok so last night I talked to Judy and she was able to tell me more about how this happened. Dot went in for surgery on monday and had to stay one night, well at 3 on Tuesday morning is when she had the stroke. They automatically started working on her to see how bad it was. It was not good she had had a massive stroke, She is still non responsive and she now has bleeding onnthe brain. They have place a drain tube in her head to relice the blood. They told them last night that they will know more in 24-48 hours that is if she makes it threw the night. If she dose make it then she will spend 3-4 weeks in ICU. Please keep praying for Mrs. Dot!

Aunt Deb

OK so when I found out that Mary V was having a baby I started calling my self Aunt Deb. For those that have never seen Nemo than you will not understand but there is a little fish in the tank with Nemo and she calls her self aunt Deb and her sister Flow. So when ever I see Mary now I go right up to that cute pregnant belly and tell the little nugget hello its your aunty Deb I love it and we always have a good laugh over it.

Mary Virginia

For those that do not know Mary Virginia and I have been Best Friends since we were in the 9th grade. We actually meat in ballet class when I was 4 but really did not know each other and re meat again. Who new that we would become best friends and marry best friends. I meat Nick and then I meat Matt, Nick and I then introduced Matt and Mary to each other and it all started from there. Nick and I got engaged first but Mary and Matt got Married First. I had Miller first and Nick and I asked Matt and Mary to be his God Parents. Well one August night our phone rang and it was Mary calling to see what we were doing I told her that we were about to go to bed. She said well Matt and I are in the drive way and want to show you something I new then that she was Pregnant. I was so excited for them I really never thought they would have kids. If you know Mary she is not the type to say OK come on Matt lets have a KID. She was I think scared witch who would not be if never having one or having any contact with any. Miller was Marys first baby to every hold so she was still having to get use to the facet that SHE was having a baby! But once she started to show she new that this was something that she could love for ever. Mary has had a hiccups during her pregnancy, she let a friend do an ultrasound and her and Matt were told it was a BOY, They soon would find out it was a Girl! I my self still call it a NUGGET I think I will wait till I see really what it is. Mary and Matt have also asked Nick and I to be God Parents also with Emily and Shelby Walker also some really good friends of theirs. We both are very Excited for them and can't wait to see the little Nugget, and Yes she has picked out a name Marian Susan Richardson, and she is due April 1, 2010. Baby Shower

This past weekend me and 12 other hostess gave Mary Virgina a baby shower. I t turned out so pretty the only thing is Mary was unable to attend I was so sad. The poor pregnant Mary came down with the stomach bug or I say food poison friday night and could not get better before her Tea Saturday so the hostess and I took charge and took her place at the tea. We loved opining all he gifts. She got so many things It kinda maid me want a little girl. We also had a great turn out considering Mary was not there and everyone was very understanding about the situation. Thank goodness Mary is felling better.

Mom's Birthday

Well even though February is almost over we still have a lot to do in the last week/weekend. Saturday We have a family Wedding to attend and Sunday is my best friends baby shower at my house and my moms Birthday! Friday night seems to be the only night we don't have anything to do well I do I need to clean the house for all of those guess that will be coming to my house after church for the Baby Tea. But we are going to go eat at my parents house for moms Birthday so I guess I will clean house Saturday and some this week at night I amy end up just throwing things in a closet and shutting the door. So Congratulations to kim Kelly on her wedding, Mary V on the baby and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my MOM!

Dot

Please Pray I just got word today that Nicks Step grandmother has had a stroke. She is at UAB and is in ICU and she is none responsive. From what I have been told she was having surgery there not sure if she was in surgery or was in recovery or was in the hospital recovering. But we do know that she was at the hospital when she had the stroke. They will know more in 24 hours whether she will make it or not. Mrs. Dot was a very sweet lady and very spunky I hate that this is happening to her children and grandchildren and to our family as well. I will keep up dated as much as I know. Thanks for your prayers.

Valentines 2010

This Valentines Nick and I decided not to give each other gifts to do just cards because we really did not need anything other than or love for one another. And I will have to say I kinda liked not having to fine a gift that was over priced. Miller on the other hand I did not buy anything other than a card BUT I knew that his Yaya and Gigi would take care of that for ALL of us he got so much stuff. He got manly clothes for this up coming spring and summer witch is really nice considering he has finally out grown his last years. Yes he was able to were his summer clothes for a whole year. If weather permitted. He also made some Valentine cookies with mom and Mallory and Daren and Riley and Kaleb. They had so much fun getting to decorate them and then getting to eat them. Its Back

THANK GOODNESS we have the internet back at the house. When Nick took his job at hunt we were told that we would take a 10,000 dollar pay cut, we then started cutting back on things we did not need and internet was one of them. We said if we really needed to use it then we could go over to our parents house to do so, pulse I have internet at work and Nick did not pay any bills over the internet. So this was not going to be an issue it was more of getting use to the face that we did not need the extra bill. Well Nick has been at hunt know for 2 years and we still have not seen that cut in fact we have seen a pay in cries witch is wonderful thanks to OVERTIME. That is one thing the lord has blessed us with is when ever they do need someone to work they call Nick and he is always more than willing. So now that we have it back there defiantly will be more pictures and posts on this little blog that i so LOVE to do I will just have to try to do it after I put Miller down for a nap or bed.

Wow Time is Flying By!

Well yes it has been quit some time now that I have been on here but I am back. The past few weeks have been quit crazy around our house. Toward the first of the month we had a little accident and thought Miller had broken his leg so we stayed at the ER till 11 that night. But God was looking over us and blessed us with just a bruise or what the nurse called it a himatoma witch is a bruise in side the muscle witch some call it a blood bruise. They told us that it would take a little while for it to go down so far we still have it. Also My father-in-law had to have another surgery on his neck this time they had to cut down the back of his neck to do the repair work this is one of 3 he has already had I think I am correct on that number. So far Big George is doing well still in pain but doing well. We had a great Valentines day we got a little snow and it was really nice to see. The Friday before Valentines day Millers school was closed do the the snow we got and Nick was off also. We had a great Family day with just the three of us. Nick wanted to pull Miller in the sled behind the 4 wheeler but miller was not going to have that so I got in there with him and he still did not like that he kept crying and saying I wont my house. So Nick then put him on the 4 wheeler and pulled me Miller still did not like that at all he still wanted to go home. The funny thing is we were in the front Yard of our house I'm not really sure were Miller thought we were. That day we also were having issues with Millers noise he kept having noise bleeds and they would not stop this is not the first time this has happened. We also are still trying to potty train, Miller dose very well IF he dose not have a diaper or pull ups on he will let Nick and I know when he has to go but as soon at we put that diaper on or pull up he quits telling us that he has to go so I am going to have to find out something else to do. I hope to keep you updated better starting next monday Nick has finally decided to ge the internet back THANK GOODNESS! So we will see how well I post things know.
