Mallory

For those that have no clue what Mallory has been up to I will be glade to feel you in. This passed week she has been sick with all the mess going around. She also is playing softball for my church. She played last year and really liked playing with all the girls on the team. So she thought she would do it again this year. Mallory currently has a really cute apartment that she has been in for several months now and seem to really like it. Just a little update.

Planting Time

It's that time of year again and Nick has been working in the yard. He has planted the Garden and we have done a little landscaping also, Nick planted 2 apple trees and 4 blueberry bushes, he has also planted strawberry bushed and he also was every nice and planted my rose bushes. The rose bushes seem to be the only thing I can keep alive at out house. We also pulled up the land scape timbers that we had but down the year we found out I was pregnant. Well since then we have gotten 2 dogs and they are in the back yard and now there is no back yard. Anything we plant they dig up or eat those monsters. But so far they leave the grass a lone thank goodness because that is all we have. In Nicks garden he has planted corn, tomato's, peppers, cucumbers, watermelon, squash, peas, beans, okra, there may be some other things he had planted but this seem like hall I can remember. I will keep you updated on the yard plus the garden.

This Weekend!

Well this past weekend went by so fast, I picked Miller up at school Friday afternoon and when I got there I noticed something on his mouth. I figured that they had painted and he tried to eat the paint. Well he got closer to me and I realized he had had an accident. I looked down at him and said Miller what happened he just looked at me the teacher came over and said that when they were trying to go out side that he took off running and when she went to grab his hand he then took off down to the ground and busted his lip open and scratched his nose and fore head. I felt so sorry for him. but his teacher said that he cried for a little while and then got up and ran off to play. That Saturday Jessica had another shower so we got up and ready for that witch nothing was going the way I needed it to Nick was on nights so I was trying to keep Miller and I quiet in the house and trying to get all of our stuff to gather. After the shower we had been invited to Donnie and Terrie's camp house in Boligee Alabama. Dad and Donnie got down there earlier that day Donnie was working on the house and dad went fishing. it was such a pretty drive there on the way we had found out that Courtney and Whit and Stephanie were going to meet us there, I was very excited because it had been quit some time since I had seen them. Well we pulled up to the house and it was unbelievable, the house was unbelievable it was gouges, it was something you see in a magazine. They still have a ways to go but it still was so nice to see it we had a blast miller loved all the rocks and the fish that he got to touch that dad caught and getting to play with Stephanie's new puppy. On the way back we stopped at the Cotton Patch to eat dinner boy was it good, miller didn't eat that much instead he threw his food at Terrie sorry Terrie. When we got back to moms house we let miller run around and get his energy out that. Mom and I sat down and looked at Donnie and Terrie's Africa pictures that was really neat to see. Donnie killed a Giraffe while they were there, and we got to see them skin it that was neat also. after that we put Miller in the bath and got him ready for bed and then we headed home. On the way home I kept thinking Miller would fall asleep well he didn't the child didn't go to bed till 11:30. The next morning I got up and got ready for church and then got Miller up and ready church started at 9:30 so I let Miller sleep till 9. After church we went home to eat lunch and get ready for Gigi to come over, Jessica had another shower Sunday, Yes these is two days in a row. So once mom got there we left and headed to the shower. After the shower mom and I went to Lowe's to look at some stuff and then headed back to the house, boy was it a weekend maybe next weekend will be a littler slower. Thanks Donnie and Terrie for the trip to Boligee.

The Day Before Easter

The day before Easter we went to the church for there Easter egg hunt, they had a little show before they got to hunt eggs it was really good. But It didn't keeps Millers attention that well he fell fast asleep during the show. After that we all went out side to hunt eggs Maw maw hunted eggs for Miller since he was asleep. But he did decide to wake up right before it was over.

The OutFit

Not sure if you remember me saying that the outfit that Miller is wearing in Jessica's wedding is the same one he will wear for Easter. Well on the Wednesday before Easter I was calling to see if our outfit had come in because we also were having pictures made Friday but we were told it would be ready that Wednesday. So as I was saying I called and the girl that answered the phone said no that they had not come but would defiantly be there Thursday so I said OK. Well Thursday came and still no outfit. From what I was told the guy that makes these out fits never got the fax at least that is what I was told so it was never made, but I was also told that he forgot to put it in the box with the rest of the outfits he had made who knows what really happened. But anyways then I was told that it would be here on Friday at 12 so we were going to have pictures made at 9 had to push those back to 3:00, so at 12 I called up there and still no outfit so then I ether had to cancel or find another out fit for Miller to wear in his pictures. Well we found another outfit for him and got there around 2:25 for his pictures. Now we are just waiting on them to come in. Also Miller go to hold real Bunny's in his pictures. Once we figured the outfit was not coming in on Friday we just decided to head to the house to relax. Then Saturday came and we got the magical call that it was in so I ran over there and picked it up it is gouges. I couldn't wait to get it on him and start taking pictures.

Easter 2009

Well we survived Easter this year, Miller got lots of things this year from the Easter Bunny. He got 2 things he really like the best a BALL! He loves balls everything right now is ball, even the eggs were balls. We got up Sunday morning and got ready for church and after church we headed to Mom and Dads for Easter lunch and then we were going to Indian Hills for the Easter egg hunt. The Easter egg hunt started at 1:30 and we of course were running behind but not to bad, I think we were like 2 minutes late well that 2 minutes late made us miss the egg hunt they were done time we got out there. So we went back to mom and dads and let miller find eggs there. He had so much fun. Nick missed out on the egg hunt at mom and dads he was having to work Sunday. But he did get to see everything Miller got from the Easter Bunny!

The Zoo Tripe

Oh our ZOO tripe has been canceled due to weather. Yes we were going to go to the ZOO this Friday but it is suppose to be raining so I decided to save it for another weekend. When I told Nick that he said that we didn't need to go anyways because Miller won't know what is going on. i told him that if you wait till a child knows what is going on than he will be behind he needs to learn early, I told him the Miller dose know what the animals are. We will go we just won't tell Nick when we go. Ha ha ha

This Past Week

Well this past week has been a little crazy, Thursday we had some pretty scary storms come through Tuscaloosa and Northport. So they decided to let school out early so I got to leave work at 2:30 I loved that. I went and got Miller and we went home and I cleaned house thank goodness, because little did I know that Friday that the school would once call again and tell me that Miller was running a fever. So I got to leave work at 12:15, I loved that to, considering that my throat was hurting a little. After I got Miller from school I took him to the Dr. and they said it was the started of CROUP. But they couldn't give me anything for it because his was the start of it and he was really not showing any sighns of infection. Well by that night he still had a fever and I was getting sick as well, my nose was running and my head was hurting and I had a lot of presher in my head. I hated that we were getting sick because we had a full weekend planed. We were supose to go have lunch with some friends had to cancel that, but her little boy also woke up with a runny nose, and after lunch we were going to the air show to see the BLUE ANGLES I was so excited about going. Well we canceled that to but I think that was a good thing because we had 2 motoercycles come by the house and the noise scared Miller hafe to death he came running back to me crying, I guess it was a good thing that we didn't go. But little did we know that Nick was at work video taping it for us so we did get to see some of it. I hope we get to felling better soon.

Our Trip

Yes this is late but late is better than never. We had a great time in Mobile, yes we did have some rain the night before the run in face we had a storm and it scared me to death. I usually love storms but I guess being in a 200 year old house with 7 foot windows scared me a little. So the next morning we woke up with no electricity so we did what we could to get ready. once I was half way ready the power came back on and found out that the runs had been postponed to start later than normal. Moms was suppose to start at 8 but they pushed it back to 9 and mine was suppose to start at 9:30 and was pushed back to 11:30. Witch was fine by me because I got to eat something be fore I went. Mom finished hers in 1 hour and 52 min. and I finished mine in 15min. I will probably do the 6 mile one next year, I really enjoyed doing this. After we cleaned the house up and all the people were gone we left and headed to the bay house home a way from home I love going to the bay house you feel like you have no worry's there at least that's the way I feel. We stayed there that night and cooked shrimp and fish yum yum! The next morning Chris cooked all of us breakfast and it is always good. After that we got our baths and pack up and we headed home.
